The EZ Match Color Compact Imager & Cap Inspector can read both linear and 2D codes, detect the absence or presence of test tubes and caps, determine cap type and more. The decode rate is up to 10, per second. The device has a compact size and wide angle optics.

The EZ Match Color technology has advanced software that allows robust inspection. It is a new product developed for design engineers, built with complete data integrity during the implementation of specimen container inspection systems. It confirms the absence or presence of both test tubes and caps, and gives a user-defined output message. Evaluating cap absence or presence is important for diverting test tubes to appropriate locations. The reading is omni-directional, both linear bar codes as well as 2D symbols can be deciphered using the EZ Match Color in any configuration. The device is lightweight and durable, and is available in a monochrome model.
